TTI is a charity, founded in 2009 and relaunched in 2026, working on why some experiences change us and how to make that change last. In its founding year, through 2027, it is building shared standards, open research, affordable training and grants for experiences that communities lead themselves. Join the Founding Circle
The Founding Circle is the group of givers who fund TTI's work through its founding year.
How to join: give $25 a month, or $300 once, by December 31, 2026.
How long: monthly gifts run through December 2027, and you can change or cancel at any time.
What it pays for: testing and publishing the first shared standards, the first research on what experiences change, and training priced so income is no barrier.
Recognition: every giver is listed by name in the Founding Circle, unless you choose not to be.

Tests and publishes the first shared standards.
Practitioners are testing the draft Transformative Experience Standards on real trips and stays. The refined standards are published within 60 to 90 days of the Symposium, free to read and cite, with every contributor named.

Opens the Symposium's work to everyone.
At the Transformative Experience Symposium, April 4 to 11, 2027, practitioners, researchers and host communities refine the standards together. Your gift helps publish what the week produces, six open-access outputs free for anyone to use.

Finds out what lasts.
The first Experience Impact Profile pilots ask guests, hosts and teams what changed, before, right after and weeks to months later. TTI publishes the findings by the end of 2027, including where nothing lasted.

Builds training anyone can reach
TTI's training grows in 2027, from Foundations of Transformative Experience Design to the practitioner certification program that opens in the fall. Your gift helps open it to people who could not otherwise afford it.

Seeds the Community Stewardship Fund.
The Fund's first grants, announced after the Symposium, go to experiences that communities lead themselves.

Supports TTI's first community-led projects.
Each one is mapped with the community it belongs to, designed with the draft standards and measured with the Experience Impact Profile, and what it teaches is published for everyone.

Gifts given for the founding year are unrestricted, so TTI puts each one where its founding year needs it most: the standards, the research, training priced so income is no barrier, the Community Stewardship Fund and its first community-led projects.

A gift can be any amount, given whenever you like. The Founding Circle is $25 a month or $300 once, open until December 31, 2026, and every Circle giver is listed by name unless they choose not to be.

TTI is a 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN 26-4490451, and gifts are deductible in the United States to the extent allowed by law. You get emailed a receipt for every gift.
